Designing Leadership Exper
OL 202 is a continuation of the discussion started in OL 201 and is intended to capitalize on your past work and personal experiences to help you reframe them as opportunities to help design your future as a leader. This course builds on the discussion of how to integrate academic leadership concepts with your personal and professional narrative. Whereas OL 201 was mostly focussed on “your” point of view, OL 202 will extend this discussion by gathering information from “other” points of view using techniques such as surveying/interviews so that you can begin to design your leadership style and experience. Academic leadership topics, including followership, ethics, communication skills, and presentation skills will be discussed. Designing your leadership experience with your past experiences as the foundation will help you plan to be more intentional about leadership and followership when it matters the most.
Prerequisites: Registration Status: Senior Student. OL201 suggested.
